Plain-language terms summary
Gatepass helps organizations create forms, event tickets, ID capture workflows and verification records. If you connect Google Drive or Google Forms, you are responsible for using an authorized Google account, and Gatepass uses Google data only for the connected features described in these terms and the Privacy Policy.
01
Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, using Gatepass, publishing a project or allowing your team to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Gatepass for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
Use Gatepass only for lawful business, school, church, event, community, NGO or operational workflows.
Keep account credentials secure and use accurate account information.
Make sure your workspace members follow these terms.
Stop using the service if you do not agree with these terms.
02
Accounts and workspaces
You are responsible for activity in your account and workspace. Workspace owners and admins control members, project settings, published links, response review, exports, integrations and billing usage.
Invite only authorized members to your workspace.
Remove users who no longer need access.
Do not share one login across many people.
Review project settings before publishing public links or collecting records.
03
Forms, ID capture and events
Gatepass lets customers create standard forms, collect ID records, manage event registrations, generate badges, tickets or ID cards, verify records and export data. Customers are responsible for the questions they ask and the records they collect.
Collect only information you are permitted to collect.
Use clear consent, privacy or event instructions where needed.
Review generated cards, badges, tickets and exports before using or sharing them.
Archive or close projects when collection should stop.
04
Google account, Google Drive and Google Forms integrations
Gatepass may allow you to sign in with Google, import Google Forms and store Gatepass-related files in Google Drive. These features require you to grant Google OAuth permissions and may depend on Google's availability, your Google account permissions and the scopes you approve.
You must connect only Google accounts that you own or are authorized to use for the workspace or project.
Google Forms imports are used to read form structure and recreate or configure a Gatepass project; you remain responsible for imported content and any data you later collect.
Google Drive storage may create folders and files for Gatepass uploads, exports, generated tickets, badges, cards and reports in the connected Google account.
Gatepass may save OAuth tokens or connection records needed to operate the Google feature until you disconnect Google, revoke access or the connection expires.
You can disconnect the Google integration in Gatepass where available or revoke Gatepass from your Google Account permissions page.
Disconnecting Google stops future use of that connection, but files already created or stored in your Google Drive may remain in Google Drive unless you delete them there.
If Google changes, limits, suspends or makes an API unavailable, related Gatepass import or storage features may fail, pause or require reconnection.
05
Google user data and permitted use
When Gatepass receives information from Google APIs, Gatepass uses it only to provide and improve the user-facing Google-connected features you enabled, maintain security, prevent abuse, comply with law or provide requested support.
Gatepass does not sell Google user data.
Gatepass does not use Google user data for advertising or ad targeting.
Gatepass does not use Google Drive, Google Forms or Google profile data to train generalized AI models.
Gatepass's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
You agree not to use Google-connected features to access files, forms or data without proper authority.
06
WhatsApp and messaging
Where enabled, Gatepass may support WhatsApp linking, form sessions, account help, project commands, reminders and support conversations. WhatsApp delivery depends on provider availability, service windows and messaging rules.
Users may link a WhatsApp number to their account using a link code.
Public submitters may start supported forms using a form code or link instructions.
Workspace owners remain responsible for what their WhatsApp-ready forms ask for.
Gatepass may limit or stop messages that create abuse, spam, security or delivery risk.
07
Free Mode, PayGo packs and billing
Gatepass may provide Free Mode allowances and paid PayGo packs for additional responses, ID card generations, event attendees, exports or duration. Pack quantities, prices, expiry and availability can change from time to time.
Free Mode allowances are limited and may reset or expire according to product rules.
Paid packs add the specific capacity shown at checkout or in the billing page.
Buying response credits does not automatically increase active project limits.
Admin-approved custom grants may be applied for larger teams or support cases.
08
Restrictions
Do not misuse Gatepass or use it in a way that harms people, violates the law, damages the platform, bypasses limits or interferes with other customers or connected providers.
No fraud, phishing, impersonation, harassment, malware or illegal data collection.
No attempts to bypass usage limits, security controls, billing rules or verification systems.
No unauthorized access, scraping, automated abuse or service disruption.
No publishing misleading projects or collecting records without proper authority.
No using Google, WhatsApp, payment or storage integrations in a way that violates their provider rules or another person's rights.
09
Suspension and termination
Gatepass may suspend or restrict accounts, workspaces, public projects, messaging access, Google integrations, storage features or billing actions where there is misuse, security risk, unpaid charges, legal risk or violation of these terms.
We may disable harmful public links or forms.
We may suspend accounts that create security, abuse or legal risks.
Customers should export needed records before closing a workspace.
Some records may be retained for audit, billing, fraud prevention or legal reasons.
