Plain-language policy
This page explains how Gatepass operates for account owners, workspace members and people submitting records through forms, ID capture projects and event registrations. Organizations with special legal or regulatory requirements should review these terms with their own adviser.
Who to contact
The right contact depends on your relationship to the record. If you submitted a form, ID request or event registration for an organization, that organization usually controls the content. If you own a Gatepass account or workspace, contact Gatepass support from the account email.
- Public submitters should contact the organization that shared the form or event link.
- Workspace members should contact their workspace owner or admin first.
- Account owners can contact Gatepass for platform account, billing or workspace questions.
- Gatepass may redirect requests when another organization controls the record.
Request types
Depending on your location and relationship to the data, you may request access, correction, export, deletion, restriction or clarification about certain personal data.
- Access or copy of account information.
- Correction of inaccurate account or workspace details.
- Deletion or closure of an account where available.
- Questions about a public response, ID record, event registration or uploaded file.
Details to include
Clear details help the responsible organization or Gatepass identify the correct account, workspace, project or response.
- Your name and contact email or phone number.
- The organization, workspace, form, ID project or event name if known.
- The date, reference code, public link or screenshot that helps identify the record.
- A clear description of what you want accessed, corrected, exported or deleted.
Verification and limits
Privacy requests may require identity verification and may be limited by legal, security, billing, fraud prevention, backup or operational requirements.
- We may need to verify identity before acting.
- Some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.
- Deleted data may remain temporarily in backups.
- We may refuse requests that are fraudulent, abusive or impossible to verify.
