Plain-language policy
This page explains how Gatepass operates for account owners, workspace members and people submitting records through forms, ID capture projects and event registrations. Organizations with special legal or regulatory requirements should review these terms with their own adviser.
Allowed use
Gatepass should be used for legitimate records and workflow collection such as registrations, admissions, customer forms, staff records, membership capture, event attendees, ID cards, badges, tickets, support requests and reports.
- Use accurate and honest project descriptions.
- Collect only data needed for the stated purpose.
- Use clear instructions and consent where appropriate.
- Follow applicable laws and organizational rules.
Prohibited content and behavior
Do not use Gatepass to collect, host, distribute, request, generate, verify or export illegal, abusive, exploitative, deceptive or harmful content.
- No fraud, phishing, impersonation or deceptive collection.
- No harassment, hate, abuse, exploitation or threats.
- No unauthorized collection of private, sensitive or protected information.
- No malware, credential theft, spam or attempts to bypass security controls.
- No content or activity that violates legal restrictions.
Uploads, photos and documents
Uploaded files, photos, payment proof, signatures, ID photos and event documents should be requested only when needed and reviewed carefully.
- Do not ask for unnecessary sensitive files.
- Do not publish private uploads without permission.
- Reject unclear, suspicious or fraudulent records where appropriate.
- Handle downloaded files securely.
WhatsApp and messaging use
WhatsApp flows must not be used for spam, harassment, deceptive collection, unauthorized account access or repeated unwanted messages.
- Do not share link codes with unauthorized users.
- Do not use support conversations for abuse or spam.
- Do not send misleading form codes or public instructions.
- Respect opt-out, cancellation and support boundaries.
Verification and generated records
Gatepass verification, QR codes, badges, tickets, passes, ID cards and exports must not be used to mislead people or create false authority.
- Do not alter generated records to misrepresent status.
- Do not verify fake, fraudulent or unauthorized records.
- Do not use Gatepass as proof of identity beyond the purpose of the issuing organization.
- Review generated documents before distribution.
Enforcement
Gatepass may investigate, restrict, suspend, remove or terminate accounts, workspaces, public projects, messaging access or records that create legal, privacy, security, billing or abuse risk.
- Harmful public links may be disabled.
- Accounts may be suspended for serious misuse.
- Customers may be required to correct risky projects.
- Gatepass may cooperate with lawful requests where required.
